Gambaran Asupan Natrium, Kalium dan Lemak Pada Penderita Hipertensi Rawat Jalan di Puskesmas Biaro Kabupaten Agam Tahun 2022
Abstract
The prevalence of hypertension based on data from the Biaro Health Center in 2020
is 11,4%. The problem of hypertension cannot be separated from changes in diet. Foods
consumed such as foods high ini sodium and fat and low in potassium. Potassium is
useful for controlling blood pressure. The aim of the study was to see an overview of
sodium, potassium and fat intake ini hypertensive outpatients at the Biaro Health Center
in Agam Regency in 2022. This research is descriptive in nature. The study was
conducted from January 2022 to June 2022. A sample of 34 people was taken by
accidental sampling with the criteria of outpatient hypertension patients, aged 39 to 65
years and able to communicate well. Primary data in this study was blood pressure
measured by health center staff. Data on sodium, potassium and fat intake were obtained
using the food Recall form and the SQ-FFQ form. The collected data were processed
with SPSS and analyzed descriptively to describe the sodium, potassium and fat intake of
hypertensive patients. The results of this study indicate that most respondents have more
sodium intake (97,4%) wit an average sodium intake of 1,521.87 mg/day, 97,1% of
respondents have less potassium intake with an average potassium intake of 3,213.59
mg/day, 82,4% of respondents had less fat intake with an average fat intake of 66,3
g/day. Based on the 2019 RDA, excess sodium intake is 1% of requirement, while
potassium is still lacking 31,63% of requirement and fat exceeds requirement of 5.29%. It
is recommended for people with hypertension to be able to change their diet high in fat
and sodium, eat more consume vegetables and fruits and can control blood pressure to
stay normal.
